Marjoram is a perennial, non-hardy culinary herb from the labiates family with a growth height of 30 to 60 cm. It tastes similar to oregano and the leaves are used fresh and dried for seasoning.
Origin:
Southern Europe, North Africa, Asia Minor
When direct sowing, the plant takes a long time to develop, so it is better to grow seedlings and plant them in the bed. Marjoram loves full sun and needs plenty of water because it only develops weak roots. Flowering lasts 25 to 30 days, during which time the aroma of the shoots is at its strongest.
