'Peter Pan' is one of the smallest varieties of Lavandula angustifolia. It grows slowly and looks almost like a miniature when compared to many other tall-growing lavender varieties. 'Peter Pan' is therefore the variety of choice for the front of flower beds, small beds, border hedges, or balcony boxes. The very dark color of the flowers is also impressive.
Non hybrid
Lavender is a warmth-loving semi-shrub. It therefore likes a sunny, warm location. It prefers a nutrient-poor soil that is well-drained and does not become waterlogged, especially in winter. If the soil is too wet, the lavender can freeze. To ensure that the semi-shrub blooms beautifully every year, you need to cut it back regularly. To do this, cut off the faded stems in the fall. The second pruning takes place in spring. Old woody parts are removed here. Otherwise, lavender is very easy to care for and undemanding.
