Description

Dahlia 'Alfred Grille' is an unusual cactus dahlia that outshines other summer flowers with its large flower heads in pink and yellow. Dahlia 'Alfred Grille' grows best in warm, sunny places with well-drained, nutrient-rich soil. In order for the summer flower to develop optimally, you should ensure a planting distance of 40 cm. Between July and October appear numerous flower heads with a diameter of 15 cm.

Growing tips

As dahlia bulbs are not hardy, they should be taken out of the ground before winter and overwintered in a frost-free place. The formation of new flower buds is encouraged by regularly plucking the wilted flowers. After planting, keep the soil moist at first. Store in a cool, airy place until planting time.
