Snapdragons belong to the plantain family (Plantaginaceae) and are very popular garden flowers. With their often multicolored flowers and unusual flower shapes, they are truly fascinating.

Growing tips

The annual snapdragon must be re-sown every year. It can therefore be pre-cultivated indoors from January to enable it to flower from June. After the Ice Saints, it can be planted out in a sunny spot with loose, nutrient-rich soil.
