A graceful climber with pretty filigree flowers from lavender to reddish purple with dense ivy-like leaves of light green color. It amazes with the length growth up to 2 m and blooms tirelessly from June until the first frost. Asarina scandens grows undemandingly in any garden soil. Sunny or slightly shady, sheltered from the wind, are ideal as a location.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
You can give your house, pergolas, entrance arches and fences a "colorful dress" with climbing plants. Some varieties, such as the climbing snapdragon (Asarina scandens), also provide a flowering privacy screen on the balcony and show amazing growth in their short vegetation period. When direct sowing, take care not to sow too much climbing snapdragon seed in the planter. It is easier to pre-grow the flowers and prick them out into balcony boxes or flower pots.
