Description

Dolomites Deep Red' is an attractive variety of geranium (Pelargonium zonale). It is characterized by its fiery red, unfilled flowers, which have a particularly intense hue. The plant grows to a height of around 40 cm and has a compact, upright habit. Its leaves have a light reddish-brown pattern, which provides an attractive contrast to the bright flowers. As a robust and easy-care variety, 'Dolomites Deep Red' is ideal for use in balcony boxes, containers or outdoors among vegetable plants. The unfilled flowers are particularly insect-friendly as they offer more nectar and pollen than filled varieties. This geranium flowers profusely from March until the first frosts and its intense color adds a lively accent to any planting.
