Beschreibung

Cola herb is a subspecies of mountain rue (Artemisia abrotanum), which belongs to the composite family (Asteraceae). Also called stickroot and limo plant and is hardy. Can grow up to 1 m tall and grows bushy. Leaves are pinnate and silvery green. Blooms yellow from July to September and smells like cola, but may not bloom in colder areas.

Light germinator. Germination after 10-12 days at 20°C. Undemanding. Likes calcareous soils. In the pot you should fertilize the herb, in the field not necessary, but can. Prune and thin out a little in spring. Propagation by seeds and cuttings. In the pot, overwinter frost-free.
