Beschreibung

Forget-me-not, also mouse-ear or magic herb is a genus within the family of broad-leaved plants (Boraginaceae). They are used as ornamental and medicinal plants and are annual to perennial and herbaceous. The flowers occur in blue to purple, rarely yellow, white or pink.

Anbautipps

Re-seeds itself. Also good in partial shade and with tulips or other spring-flowering plants. Different varieties have different soil requirements. Sow from the end of May to the end of July, the forget-me-nots will then flower in the 2nd year. Can also be grown in advance. Cover seeds lightly with soil, germination takes place after 14-21 days from 18°C. Can also be propagated by cuttings or division. Hardy.
