Description

Mayan Rose is a new variety from the strain of "Solanum phureja", known for a 1/3 shorter cooking time than potato varieties from the "Solanum tuberosum". Mayan Rose is a cross between Mayan Twilight and Mayan Gold. High resistance to scab. Red-yellow skin and deep golden flesh. Good for boiling, mashing and frying. Growing tips

Do not leave in the soil for too long, as the varieties will then quickly start to germinate again. Therefore only a short storage period. Beautiful purple-yellow flowers, forms many berries. Beware, the potato berries are poisonous. Cooking time reduced by 1/3 compared to 'normal' potatoes. Plant from April. Harvest from the end of July. (From Lubera.com)
