Description

F1 hybrid. Slim, tender zucchini. Early maturing, bushy, with golden yellow fruits and yellow flesh. Non-climbing and early to pick. Finer, fruitier than green zucchini. Remains yellow when cooked.

Growing tips

Germination after 8-14 days at 16-25°C. Harden off before planting out. Likes warm, sheltered locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants can pollinate each other. Harvest regularly so that new fruits continue to form. Fertilize and water regularly. Observe crop rotation. Home-grown zucchini seeds are strongly discouraged because they can produce the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can cross-pollinate, making zucchinis bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
