'Little Fingers' is a very compact growing variety of approx. 60 cm. This makes this variety particularly suitable for growing in pots or containers (from 10 l pot size). Its fruits are small, they can be harvested and enjoyed from 4-7 cm in length, but can also grow somewhat larger, with slightly purple-colored leaves that look very attractive together with the dark purple fruits hanging in clusters. It has a sweet taste and a very fine texture, and the skin can also be eaten without any problems.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Before sowing, cold period in the refrigerator for one week at 4-5°C. Sow in pots at a temperature of 24°C under a well-lit shelter. Separate at the 2-3 leaf stage. From mid-May (after the first frosts), plant outside and bury until the first leaves appear. This variety is best suited for containers of 10 liters or more, as the plant only grows to a height of approx. 60 cm and the fruits should be harvested from a size of 5 cm to a maximum length of 10 cm. The plant is at its most productive from mid-August.
