Description

High-yielding runner bean with fleshy, rather flat and green pods. The tasty runner beans are stringless and remain soft for a long time. The grain is oval and black-violet with beige marbling. Used as a green bean, pal and dried bean. Ideal for bean vegetables with bacon or green bean salad. Old variety from Austria.

Growing tips

The beans can be sown in rows, but usually in clusters, with a distance of approx. 10 cm between the bean seeds. Depending on the number of beans per cluster, the distance between the clusters should be approx. 40-80 cm.
