Description

Phaseolus vulgaris Babushka is an old variety from Russia. The seeds are beige with light brown speckles. It is mainly a grain bean and the dried seeds are eaten. We have found that most grain beans have pods, which are particularly tasty. These can and should be eaten young, but are no longer suitable for eating later. From then on, the bean is once again what it originally was: a grain bean.
