Description

Runner bean with straight green pods and almost round white grain with dark markings around the navel. Good yield and very fine taste of the young stringless pods. Old farmer and monastery variety. Use as a fisole, e.g. for green bean salad and as a grain bean. The creamy cooking grain is good for bean spread. Due to the "monstrance drawing", the grains are also traditionally used for making rosaries.
