Description

Original wild tomato with cherry-sized, round and red fruits. Very hardy and undemanding. Requires enough space despite compact growth. Lush fruiting and high yield. Very tasty, fruity-sweet fruits. Grows to about 1.5-2 m tall. Naturally resistant to late blight and other tomato diseases. For outdoor, but cultivation in containers and on the balcony is also possible.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Germination after 8-14 days at 20-25°C. Do not cultivate tomatoes too warm after pricking out (at approx. 16-20°C), otherwise they may go yellow. Harden off before planting out. The side shoots do not need to be removed as they also bear tomatoes. A support and a tie can be helpful, especially when growing in a pot, but are not absolutely necessary. Generally requires less fertilizer and watering than cultivated tomatoes. The harvested fruits ripen later.
