Description

Very hot chili from the Caribbean. The 7 Pot chillies (or 7 Pod) are among the hottest chillies at all and are in no way inferior to the Bhut Jolokia or the Trinidad Scorpion. Their name comes from the fact that one pod is said to be enough to spice up 7 filled cooking pots. The fruits are similar in shape to Habaneros, but have a bumpy surface and can grow quite a bit larger. They ripen from lime green to orange to red and have an aromatic fruity flavor, some say reminiscent of apricots. Because of the thin fruit walls, the pods dry well and can be processed into powder. Please be sure to wear disposable gloves when processing the pods.

The chili cannot have it warm and sunny enough. If the leaves droop a little, it needs a little water. Can be grown in pots, greenhouses and outdoors, as long as it gets enough nutrients
