Description

Apache chili is a strongly branched and bushy growing plant. It rarely grows taller than 45 cm, so it is ideal as a container plant for the balcony or windowsill, In addition, it is quite undemanding for a chili (it needs comparatively little light). The fruits ripen from green to red, are about 5 cm long and reward with a very high yield if well cared for. The small leaves and the multitude of small fruits make it a decorative houseplant. Growing tips

Care: The germination temperature is between 22 and 28°C (8 - 20 days germination period), therefore the use of a greenhouse and a heating mat is recommended. The plants need fresh, well-fertilized, well-drained soil and do not tolerate waterlogging. They should be placed in a full sun, sheltered spot with at least 6 hours of sunlight, preferably more. Place the plants outside approx. 2 to 3 weeks after the last frost.
