Description

Prolific, golden yellow popcorn corn. Each plant bears between 2-4 cobs with a length of 25-30 cm. Originating from Hungary, this variety is characterized by spherical, golden-yellow kernels, ideal for making popcorn. The kernels can be easily dehusked. Only certain varieties of corn are suitable for use as 'puffed corn'. The variety name 'Kremgolyo' means "creamy ball" in Hungarian. Maturity 90 days. High-yielding, reliable variety. Growing tips

For early sowing, cover with fleece if necessary. At least 3 rows are recommended for optimum wind pollination. Harvest: as soon as the whole plant has dried out and turned brown; then dry the cobs for approx. 2 weeks in a dry, warm place. (From Biogartenbedarf).
