Adequate fertilization is important. For good pollination, do not grow plants in a line, but more as a block, as maize is mainly pollinated by the wind. Pre-cultivation and planting out is possible. Plant seeds with the tip pointing downwards. Pay attention to bird damage when direct sowing. (From Sativa). Pre-cultivation of maize plants 2-3 weeks before the planting date is recommended. Corn germinates quickly at temperatures around 25 °C, then place in a cooler place. Place the maize bed on the north or west side of the garden so that the neighboring beds are not shaded. (From Bingenheimer Saatgut).
