Description

Basil is a very popular aromatic seasoning herb. Both fresh and dried leaves are used and are an important ingredient in Mediterranean cuisine. The variety is characterized by shiny, dark green leaves with an aromatic fragrance and flavor. High yielding. Robust.

Growing tips

Can also be sown directly outdoors from the beginning/mid-May. Light germinator, only cover lightly with soil. A wind-protected location is advantageous. Germination after 1-3 weeks from approx. 15°C. Can be sown indoors all year round. Harvest before flowering.
