Description

Basil variety with spicy flavor and intense aroma. Medium-leaved form combines good aroma with sufficiently strong vegetative growth. Annual, about 30 cm high. Beautiful plants for pot herbs. Heat-requiring, loves full sun and a wind-protected spot.

Growing tips

Cover the seed only very thinly or not at all with soil (light germinator, germination temperature: 20-25°C) and keep moist until germination. Basil needs good fertilization and regular watering. It grows very well in combination with tomato plants in a pot. When harvesting, do not cut individual leaves but the tips of the shoots. The plant then branches out more and forms more leaf mass.
