Growing tips

A well-drained soil is important, as waterlogging should be avoided. In winter, it is recommended to cover the bed with straw, fleece or brushwood, even though the plant can often survive heavy frost without damage. It can be planted in both fall and spring. However, the fall is the best time, as they are already better rooted the following year and a better harvest can be expected from June to August.
