Description

Butterscotch is a small light brown butternut-type bottle gourd. The fruits have an average weight of around one kilo. The tasty flesh is yellow-orange and can be used in numerous dishes. Bottle gourds can be stored in a dry place for up to several months after harvesting.

Growing tips

Cultivation method: Sow indoors from mid-April in large pots and transplant outdoors in the second half of May. Can also be sown outdoors in the second half of May. Preferably in humus- and nutrient-rich soil in a sunny spot.
