Description

Popular variety also for Halloween. Climbing. Approx. 30-50 kg heavy, flat-round orange fruits. Light orange to orange flesh. Hard-skinned. Good for compote (sweet and sour), and in soups and as a vegetable garnish and in pies. Ripening time about 120-130 days. Shelf life of ripe fruits about 3-5 months. Germination after 7-14 days at 12-24°C. Not every producer offers seed resistant seeds.

Growing tips

Fertilize and water regularly. Pumpkins like to be warm and protected. Do not damage the roots when planting out, protect from snails at the beginning. Harvest until the first frost. 2-3 seeds in a pot for pre-growing, only plant out the strongest plant. Good for compost.
