Description

In Hungary called 'Nagydobosi Sutötök'. Also called Bleu de Hongrie or roast pumpkin. Vigorous variety. Medium-sized, gray-blue, platy, slightly ribbed fruit with orange flesh and smooth skin. 5-10 kg in weight. Good shelf life. Climbing. Store for at least 1 month after harvesting. Then good for frying. Does not decompose.

Growing tips

Do not damage the roots when planting out and protect them from snails at the beginning. Fertilize and water regularly. Protect with a fleece in cold temperatures below 10°C. Cultivation break: 3 years.
