Description

'Grazer Krauthäuptel 2' is an old Austrian lettuce variety. Medium-sized iceberg lettuce variety with crisp, light green, slightly reddish-edged leaves.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Sow evenly in pots or seed trays. Harden off before planting out. Plant at a distance of approx. 35 x 30 cm. For direct sowing, sow 25 x 30 cm. After sowing, cover the seeds with soil to seed size. 15°C soil temperature is optimal for germination. Requires an even supply of water.
