Description

The cherry tomato 'Dona' is an F1 hybrid and bears an average of more than 100 of its delicious tomatoes. Each cluster produces up to 10 delicious fruits. With the sweet aroma of Fruitsweet 3, these are a delicious snack, even for children. The tomatoes are shaped like pears and are just 5 cm in size. The fruit weight of the intense red cherry tomatoes is 15 to 20 g per tomato. This successor variety to 'Tumbling Tom Red' is one of the early-maturing and hardy tomato varieties.

Growing tips

Germination in 7-14 days at 20-25°C. If the plants are grown from February to April by pre-cultivation, this results in 30-50 cm high tomato plants with a width of up to 60 cm. Do not allow them to dry out and fertilize them every 2 weeks with liquid fertilizer in the irrigation water. It is convenient that it is not necessary to prune the plants during cultivation. Thanks to its compact growth, this variety is ideal for cultivation in pots and hanging baskets and is therefore also suitable for growing on balconies. After the last frosts, the young plants can be planted outdoors. You can enjoy the rich harvest from July to October.
