Description

Elongated golden yellow fruit, sweetish taste, flesh light and creamy, high-yielding compact plants. Zucchini Goldena does not lose its beautiful color when cooked, but has a shorter shelf life. When harvested young (about 15-20 cm), the plants continue to form new zucchini until autumn. Annual, not perennial.

Growing tips

Usually grown indoors and planted in the bed after the last frosts. However, direct sowing in May is also possible. Germination temperature uniform 18-22°C. Sowing depth 1-2cm. Keep moist but not wet. Germination time 7-14 days. Tip: Pre-harden young plants outside in a sunny, sheltered spot for about 10-14 days in mid-May.
