Traditional zucchini variety from (North) Italy. The fruits are marbled, bright and wedge-shaped and are harvested most small at a length ca.15-20 cm (become up to about 50 cm/2 kg). Fine firm consistency of the flesh, nutty taste. Richly bearing and open growing. Plant grows bushy/not tendril, blooms early and abundantly.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sowing for young plants in early-mid April (12 - 26 C°) or approx. 4 weeks before planting out. Plant out when the danger of frost has passed. The seedlings are then stronger and not so easy prey for snails. It is important to harvest the smaller fruits regularly so that the plants can continue to produce new flowers.
