Description

Zucchini Black Beauty bears very beautiful, shiny medium green, smooth and cylindrically truncated fruit. Very proven, robust and high-yielding variety with a long harvest window. The older the darker the fruits. Harvest from 20 cm, because of softer skin, good taste and better yield. Grows bushy.

Growing tips

Germination after 8-14 days from 12°C, ideally at 20-24°C. Harden off before planting. Likes warm, wind-protected locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants pollinate each other. Harvest regularly to ensure continuous formation of new fruit. Fertilize and water regularly. Observe crop rotation. Mixing crops with borage encourages pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can interbreed, zucchinis can become bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
