Description

F1 hybrid. Space saving climbing zucchini & convenient harvest. High yielding until autumn. Tender, aromatic, dark green fruits. For outdoor, greenhouse and planters. High yielding even in cooler temperatures. Germination after 1-2 weeks at approx. 24°C.

Growing tips

Harden off before planting out. Likes warm, sheltered locations. Sensitive to frost. Climbing support recommended. Harvest regularly so that new fruits continue to form. Fertilize and water regularly. Observe crop rotation. Home-grown zucchini seeds are strongly discouraged because they can produce the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can cross-pollinate, making zucchinis bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
