Bushy, early zuccetti variety with yellow fruits with very tender skin. Open growth. In cultivation like green-fruited varieties.

Growing tips

Germination temperature: 16-24°C. Germination period: 8-14 days. Harden off before planting out. Likes warm, sheltered locations. Sensitive to frost. Several plants can pollinate each other. Harvest regularly so that new fruits continue to form. Fertilize and water regularly. Observe crop rotation (recommended cultivation break: 4 years). Home-grown zucchini seeds are strongly discouraged because they can produce the toxic bitter substance cucurbitacin. Mixed cultivation with borage promotes pollination. Pumpkins and zucchinis of the same species can cross-pollinate, making zucchinis bitter and inedible or poisonous (due to so-called curcurbitacins).
