Description

Fresh marjoram is reminiscent of oregano in taste, but is less bitter and slightly sweet. Dried, it tastes even more intense and retains its aroma for a long time if stored properly. Its leaves are suitable for seasoning soups or stews. Insect friendly.

Growing tips

Light germinator. Germination after 10-15 days at 16-20°C. The cold-sensitive plant likes calcareous and wind-protected locations. In cooler locations, dost is suitable as a wild variety. Best harvested to dry before flowering. Keep the soil moist, but not wet.
