Small, fast-growing, high-yielding, yellow variety with bright orange skin and juicy, light yellow flesh. Vigorous foliage, somewhat sweeter and milder in flavor than beet and without coloring sap. The young leaves of yellow beet can also be processed like chard. Shelf life.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
Loose, strong, deep, not freshly fertilized soil in a sunny position. Germination period 12-20 days at 15-20 °C. Sufficient and even watering is necessary. (Can also be planted as a group: 4-6 seeds per planting hole, at harvest time remove the largest bed and allow the rest to continue growing). Cultivation period: 120-150 days (at least 70 days for "baby beds"). For overwintering, the beets should not be sown until June. Beets can be stored well as winter vegetables when they are fully ripe and free from damage.
