Red beet outside with a striking bright orange-yellow flame-colored interior and a cylindrical shape about 15cm long. Mild and sweet, also tastes delicious raw. 70-80 days to maturity; 55 days for small beets. Shelf life.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Sow in well-worked soil, at least 13-23°C, keep well moist until germination. 5-8 days to emergence, slower in cold soils. Can be sown throughout the season up to 8 weeks before hard frost. Spread seedlings approx. 5-10 cm apart depending on desired size. Protect from strong wind/rain/cold. Water evenly, weed regularly. Harvest when the roots have reached the desired size, before heavy frost occurs.
