Description

Long lasting breeding. High yielding. Tolerates light winter frosts well. Germination after 2-3 weeks at 12-20°C. (From seed Mauser.)

Growing tips

Thrives in a sunny or semi-shady spot. When planting out, place approx. 10 cm deep in the soil. Harden off beforehand if necessary. The white shafts become longer and the leek is protected from frost by mounding. Fertilize for the last time in August, otherwise winter hardiness will suffer. In the event of frost and very cold weather, cover the beds with fleece. Good for soil health by loosening the soil from the leek roots.
