Description

Selection from the "Blue-green Autumn". Medium-long stem with high white content, dark, blue-green foliage, upright foliage position. Very low tendency to form bulbs. Limited hardiness. For late fall-winter. Very good flavor. Germination temperature about 16-20°C.

Growing tips

Needs plenty of fertilizer. The numerous roots aerate the soil, buried crop residues make it valuable for soil health. Plant out approx. 10-15 cm deep 4-6 weeks after emergence. Harden off beforehand if necessary. Mounding produces longer stems with a higher white content. In very cold temperatures in winter, cover with a fleece if necessary. Cultivation break: 3-4 years.
