Description

Very vigorous and healthy outdoor variety from France, with upright growth. Conduction required. Fruits grow to about 20-25 cm long, are elongated cylindrical of dark, black color with smooth, shiny skin. Specialty for the hobby.

Growing tips

The eggplants need a lot of warmth and prefer a greenhouse or a planter (approx. 15 liters) in warm, sheltered corners on the terrace, balcony or in the garden. The optimum growing temperature for organic seeds should be consistently above 20 °C! Be sure to harden off the eggplant plants one week before planting out. Harvest the eggplants regularly so that the plant can produce new fruit. Tip: Aubergines can also be grown well on the balcony in sufficiently large pots (capacity at least 10 liters).
