Paracress, jambu, electric daisy, eyeball, toothache plant, Acmella oleracea, Brazil cress or tingle button belongs to the daisy family (Asteraceae), and is a vegetable and medicinal plant. The leaves taste sweet-salty-spicy and can cause a slight numbness in the mouth. Strengthens the immune system and helps with inflammation of the mouth and throat. The flowers are yellow and red and somewhat resemble those of chamomile. The plant grows up to 30 cm high. Not frost hardy. It is also a good ground cover.
