Chervil is an annual culinary and medicinal herb from the umbellifer family with a growth height of up to 80 cm. Chervil is hardy and blooms between June and August. There are several varieties with curly or smooth leaves.

Chervil is a light germinator, so do not cover the seeds with soil. After germination, avoid moving the plants as the roots are very fine and can be easily damaged. Chervil reduces downy mildew and aphid infestation on neighboring plants due to its essential oils.
