Annual. White flowering aromatic and medicinal herb, vigorous growth, dense foliage and robust. Can be used fresh or dried. Especially for Italian dishes, for refining salads and dressings. Height of growth approx. 40 cm.
F1 Hybrid
Not frost resistant
Sow in pots/trays (filled with sowing soil) from March. Water the sowing containers/soil thoroughly beforehand, then lay the seeds out flat (light germinators!), press down lightly and keep moist. From mid-May (frost-free), sow seeds directly outdoors in rows (25 cm apart). Plant young plants from pre-cultivation at a growth height of approx. 5 cm from mid-May at a distance of 25 x 25 cm. Loves warm, sunny locations and well-drained, humus-rich garden soil. Temperature above 18 °C if possible. Can also be grown in a pot all year round, with additional light if necessary. Young shoots and leaves can be harvested continuously until flowering. For preservation, soak in oil or hang shoots to dry in an airy place.
