Description

Large variety of lamb's lettuce with elongated leaves that are rounded above. The whole plant is larger than other varieties, and therefore more productive. Even the seed is larger, about twice as wide. Grote Noordhollandse is an old variety from the Netherlands. The leaf is thin and extremely tender. The variety has such long leaves that it is also suitable for cut-and-come-again, leaves grow back in a short time.

Non hybrid

Growing tips

They should be sown in August for harvesting from October to November. The plants are not completely frost-hardy and do not survive our winters. For the spring harvest, you should therefore sow in early spring (March) and harvest in May.
