"Diamond" is a very unusual and attractive translucent white sweet bell pepper variety that produces medium-thick fleshy, blocky fruits. These are definitely delicious, rich in flavor and fruity-crunchy. The plants are stable and about 60 cm high. Remains translucent white for quite some time before turning mostly creamy yellow and then red towards the end. Can be safely harvested and eaten while white. Can be grown both in a greenhouse and outdoors in sunny locations. If planted in containers, the plants can be overwintered frost-free, they are perennial. No exact harvest period given. F1 Hybrid
Diamond peppers can be grown both in greenhouses and outdoors in sunny locations. If planted in containers, the plants can be kept frost-free in winter and are perennial. Only cover the seeds lightly with soil for germination, keep them evenly moist but not wet and warm (min. 20°C, preferably 25°C). A bright location is also important. Keep slightly cooler after germination. Prick out as soon as 2-4 true leaves are present. Harden off before planting out. When the first fruits begin to form, fertilize about once a week. An even supply of water is also important. The first flower can be broken off to encourage the formation of further fruit. Locations sheltered from the wind are advantageous. Support shoots if necessary.
