Description

Low to medium-high growing block bell pepper with dark green, thick-walled fruits that ripen to a chocolate color (red-brown). The fruits taste sweet and aromatic. Become about 160 g in weight. They do especially well in protected cultivation, but can also be cultivated outdoors or on the balcony in sufficiently large planters. (From Bingenheimer Saatgut).

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Bell pepper seeds need a lot of warmth to germinate (25 - 28°C). Too low temperatures are the most common reason why bell pepper seeds do not sprout. Cover the seeds only lightly with soil (approx. 0.2-0.5 cm). After pricking out, place in a bright and slightly cooler place (approx. 23°C). Harden off the young plants before setting them out and protect them with a fleece on cool nights. Cut off the fruit, do not tear, so that the shoots are not damaged. Fertilize and water regularly. Protect from the wind. Cultivation under glass is usually earlier and more productive. Then plant out from April. Breaking out the first flower is recommended to stimulate growth and yield. Do not allow the plants to dry out.
