Sweet bell pepper derived from indigenous Serbian bell pepper varieties (not a hybrid). High-yielding variety with a weight of 160-350g per fruit. The fleshy fruits are very sweet and are suitable for various uses in the kitchen, for grilling, stuffing, salads and ajvar. The plant is very lush with dark green leaves, ideal for outdoor and greenhouse cultivation. Rather precocious and high-yielding when well watered and fertilized. The variety is resistant to diseases that normally affect peppers.
Non hybrid
Not frost resistant
You should grow peppers in nutrient-rich soil in a sunny location. For a rich harvest, the first flower (terminal bud/'king flower') should be broken off. This promotes flower and fruit formation on the side shoots. Pull the plants with 3-4 shoots and remove the remaining shoots. In Central Europe, cultivation is usually annual, but the highest yield is only achieved 2-3 years after planting. To achieve this, the plant must be overwintered indoors.
