Growing tips

Cultivation tip: Sowing: Jan - Feb at 22 - 28°C in approx. 10 to 30 days, set deeper when pricking out; planting out in well-fertilized compost in a full sun, sheltered spot from mid-May or cultivation in 20 cm pots - I prefer pot cultivation, the fruits set earlier and it is possible to place the plants on a temperate windowsill from mid-Sep, so that all the fruits ripen by November. If you remove the first flower bud (king flower), the total yield increases considerably.
