Description

Old variety from East Frisia. White flowering sweet pea variety. Grows to 120 cm tall, sometimes up to 2 m. Sweetish taste. Light green, rather smaller pods with few seeds.

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

The soil should not be fertilized with fresh manure, it is best to prepare it with compost. If it is still very cool in spring, cover temporarily with foil or fleece. Young plants can tolerate short frosts down to -4°C. Otherwise not very demanding, climbing support required. Sowing in double rows is recommended (2 rows 10 cm apart, trellis in between).
