Growing tips

Tomatoes need warm temperatures between 20-25°C to germinate. After germination, keep in a cooler place (max. 20°C). Sowing before March can lead to a lack of light and poorer plant growth. Sow shallowly in seed trays. When pricking out, sow deeper down to the cotyledons so that the plants can develop new roots. Harden off before planting out. Protection against rain is an advantage Care: water moderately from below and fertilize regularly, support the plant, pruning and mulching recommended.
