Improved biodynamic breeding of the variety Blue Green Winter. Vigorous, blue-green leaves and medium-long, thick, white shafts. Very good frost hardiness. Suitable for overwintering on the bed. Earlier sowing in April May is possible for an earlier harvest from November.
Non hybrid
Frostproof
Warm cultivation at 20-25 °C prevents later sprouting. Prick out at a size of approx. 20 cm. Direct sowing possible. Thrives better in cooler, moist weather. For outdoor cultivation, sow in rows (spread the contents of the bag over approx. 2 m of row), press down well and keep moist. After approx. 12 weeks, when the plants are almost pencil strong, plant in furrows in well-fertilized, loose soil. Mounding results in longer shafts with a higher proportion of white. Cultivation break approx. 3 years.
