Description

The Sardinians know what tastes good. This date-shaped tomato is sweet, spicy and aromatic. Does not need to be pruned. Impressive aroma, robust plant with a high yield, a wonderful small-fruited (10-20g, approx. 3cm) but vigorously growing variety from Sardinia.

Non hybrid

Not frost resistant

Growing tips

Sow February to April at 22°C. After emergence, place in a bright location at 18°C. After 2 weeks, prick out in 10 cm pots (deeper down to the cotyledons) and lower the temperature to 12°C when the plants have reached a height of approx. 15 cm. When planting out, place deeper, from mid-April in a frost-free greenhouse, after the Ice Saints (mid-May) outdoors. Due to their determinate growth, vine tomatoes do not need to be pruned. They should nevertheless be given a support to bear the weight of the fruit.
